Funny Moments #14 Toy Story
These three very small cars were driving around in Shinjuku. It was promotion for a gaming community called Waku Waku Mail.
Street Snap of the Day #35
Mannequin from one of the small streets in Harajuku where you can find the strangest things.
Fun to look at, but maybe not so convenient to actually wear. ;D

Funny Moments #13 Win a Half Girl
In this UFO-catcher there's no stuffed animals. Instead you have the chance to win a half girl in very short skirt. :/
I guess you're supposed to use it as a pillow, giving you the feeling that you're sleeping in a girl's knee. The girls on the picture looks like they're 12 years or something...
Three pairs of legs to win. :P
Hachiko - A Friend For Life
Tokyo's most common meeting point is in front of this dog statue in Shibuya. It's the dog Hachiko which has become a symbol for loyalty in Japan.
Art of Hachiko outside Shibuya station. Hachiko used to wait here for his owner to get back from work, even nine years after his death.
Real picture of Hachiko. The story about Hachiko is known by everybody in Japan and thought to children as a good example to follow.
2009 it also became known to the rest of the world when the Hollywood movie "Hachiko: A Dog's Story" with Richard Gere was produced.
When Hachiko waited for his owner people used to give him food to support him. Nowadays when it's cold outside you can sometimes see that he's been dressed up like here.
Fashionable Hachiko in a Leopard scarf.
He's so popular that even cats wanna hang out with him! ^^
Who wouldn't want a friend like Hachiko?
Funny Moments #12 Fake Beard
We were shopping at Don Kihote and passed by a corner where they have fake beard. :O
So many different fake beards to choose between! It's apparently Japan's number 1 selling fake beard and used in TV and movies.
"Just by one touch you can change your whole image!" ;)
Lots of people are already faking their hair, eyelashes and eye color so I guess it was only a question of time before this arrived.
How did people even manage to survive before their was fake beard!?

Funny Moments #11 Ready For War
One day when I came home my house keeper had a gun and lightsaber on his desk! And on top of that a surveillance monitor. :O
It's only a airsoft gun though, used for scaring away the crows that tries to build nests on the house. The lightsaber is one of those they use in Japan to give directions in the traffic.
Best of all is that he has a big note saying "HUMOR" there. He got it from Carl and it means "Humour" in Swedish. :)

French Fries Hat & Time Travelling
I met Sofia and Milla from Finland who's on vacation in Japan now. Here we're standing outside the Disney store in Shibuya who's all about Pirates of the Caribbean for the moment.
Ate at the Izakaya Kin no Kura.
It was pretty hot and humid so went looking for something to drink and found this store which I've never seen before even though I've been so many times to Shibuya.
Hats and shirts with teeth on display.
Some pretty rare clothes inside. Very expensive so probably handmade.
Tried on this bling bling jacket. Michael Jackson feeling! =)
The test rooms were covered in silver paper.
And they had shoes with Swedish flags inside. :O
Went to EggNam for some Purikura.
It' so pink inside! There's a Swedish song that goes: "Everything is pink in Japan. There must be something they're missing."
Our first purikura together! =)
Then it was time to try on some hats that you can buy or borrow for Purikura at EggNam! ^^
Before Milla had to go home we ate at the top of Shibuya 109. All the people on the streets looks so small from up there.
Then we got stopped by this girl who wanted us to be extra in a movie about time travels. I couldn't come even though I would really like to go back in time and change all the mistakes I've done! :/
She thought Sofia looked like Nicole Richie. I've never thought about it, but she actually kinda does.
Agepoyo in Metropolis Magazine
I've been reading this magazine Metropolis since I came to Japan. It's the number 1 English Magazine in Japan, and free!
Today when I opened it they had written about this blog Agepoyo. =D
Lisa who's been in this blog before works at Metropolis and had told the staff about it.
"Non-gender-specific Swedish gaijin Fredrik"... XD
Gaijin = Foreigner
Thank you Lisa and everybody at Metropolis! ^^
You can read a PDF-version of the magazine here.
Funny Moments #10 Foreign Woman
This French woman and her TV-crew were filming a TV-show on Takeshita Street in Harajuku.
There was so much people stopping by to take photos and school girls walking by waving at her. A foreign woman and some cameras can get a lot of attention in Japan.

Funny Moments #9 Hairspray Lottery
At the Atom Renewal Party this man was standing at the entrance with a "Lucky Box".
If you pulled out a white ball you lost.
I pulled out a red ball and won a bag with hair products. Exactly what I need! ;D
The EGG-model Ayumu was DJ at the party. The model Anna to the right of him is only 15 years old. How did she get in to the club!? :/
They had artificial snow falling from the roof. =)
Thank You!
This blog had almost 30 000 views during May. 29 953 views to be precise. Thank you very much for reading and commenting! =)
It's not over yet though! Hopefully I'll find more crazy things to blog about. ^^
