Met Famous Comedian =)

We had a sightseeing day in Stockholm and ended up meeting a famous Swedish comedian. :)

Emmie and Gabrielle are here in Sweden for the week, so I tried to show them around in Stockholm.

They thought it was blonde people everywhere in Sweden, like these entertaining babies that passed by. :D

Started the Stockholm Tour at the youth festival Ung08 in Kungstradgarden.

Some fun activities there! Maybe I'm too old though. :/

Standing in front of the fountain in central Stockholm.

At NK, the most expensive mall in Sweden.

Close to NK I saw one of most famous comedians in Sweden, Peter Magnusson. He once did a show in France so he spoke some French with the girls.

It's him to the left, in a show where they make fun of the royal family of Sweden. He's supposed to look like the king. ;D

Here's the royal familiy's castle, where they hide from Peter Magnusson and his sketches. ;)

Many street perfomers this day.

These were performing in Gamla Stan, the old town of Stockholm.

There it's like Stockholm used to be hundreds of years ago, with small narrow streets. ^^

It's the most popular tourist spot, so there's lots of souvenire shops there. Found the perfect souvenire for a Japanese person to buy. ;)

Took a boat from Gamla Stan to Djurgarden.

They thought the Nordic Museum there looked like the Hogwart castle from Harry Potter.

Later we ate meatballs at their guest house. Doesn't get much more Swedish than that. ;)

Went to the bar Wok House in the night where they have palm trees inside.

Reminds me of the club Cosmos in Tokyo where they also have trees inside. It feels so strange to look at photos from Japan when I'm in Sweden by the way.

Randomly met my sister and her friend Tina who just finished work closeby.

Then tried to get into the club Terassen which is like a big staircase and balcony by the sea. It was a member's night so we couldn't get in. :/

Instead I saw Sweden's 5th most popular blogger Desirée Nilsson at TGI Fridays.

That was our day in Stockholm. =)

Funny Moments #21 Giant Sofa

I feel so small in Sweden, the land of gigantic vikings...

Found this sofa in Alunda on way home from our summer house. It's promotion for the furniture store in the background.

My new favorite place for meditation! ;)

The Sunset Triplets and Erik

Some days ago I met with Erik to the right from the band Wild Flowers, who recently changed name to Concrete Animals.

Even though me and Erik lives in completley different places in the world, he in Hollywood and I'm in Tokyo, we happened to be in Stockholm at the same time. We met at Café Moda and talked about life. Pretty good hot chocolate!

The triplets from Erik's band has been featured in the music video to Lady Gaga's song Paparazzi. Here you see them at the set with her.

Last time the band were in Japan and attended my Japanese school we went to sing Karaoke at the place used in the movie Lost in Translation.

The triplets documented everything, even how the Karaoke staff served drinks.

After the Karaoke session this cool rock-dude came from nowhere...

...and started jammin' with the band! ^^

They got some Japanese fans on their trip to Japan. Their Japanese fanbase has now signed them up for the radio contest J-Wave which they're doing good in and hope to win.

Here's the song the triplets and Erik in Concrete Animals are competing with. You can also buy it at here at itunes.

Funny Moments #20 Gamer Tattoos

When I were shopping in Stockholm yesterday I met a hardcore-gamer shop-staff! =)

Bought the jeans and bag on sale at H&M. Really cheap!

The shoes are from Jack & Jones where I talked about gaming with this nice staff. Naturally he asked his boss to get vacation for going to Tokyo Game Show in September. ;)

I noticed he had Tri-Force from the Zelda games tattooed on his arm, and then he showed me he also had a Super Mario Bros level on his leg. Fun and nostalgic surprise! ^^

These two were walking in Kungstradgarden in central Stockholm.

Funny Moments #19 Panda Plane

I just went home to Sweden during the summer holidays in Japan.

When I go back to Japan in a couple of weeks, I hope it will be in this Panda Plane I saw at Narita Airport. =)

Funny Moments #18 Lizard Circus

There's a man in Korea Town where I live who walks around with a big lizard on his back. :O

Once in a while he stops by and let people pet the lizard.

When children started playing with it, the police said he had to move the lizard circus somewhere else.

Bazu - The Transformer

After randomly meeting a friend from the last Egg-party we ended up with this cool group of fantasy creatures! =)

First met up with Manuela from Italy and went to EggNam to take Purikura.

This girl in the middle named Bazu were taking Purikura and getting herself ready for a party there.

I recognized her from the last Egg-party. She is sometimes in the magazines Egg and KERA. Her style is called "White-Manba".

Here's an example of what a regular Manba looks like. Everything but white.

I heard from her friend that she had to remove all her make-up before going in to Disneyland, otherwhise "she could have got mixed up with the Disney-characters". :D

From the back. There's very few manba now compared to before, kinda sad since they used to make Shibuya even more colorful.

Since Manba is so rare nowadays, the few ones that's around are pretty famous. Me and Jenni met the manba Alba Rosa here. More pictures of her here. Thanks to SähläriSiri for the link.

Maybe the Manba hype will be reborn as white?

Bazu were meeting her party-crew later but had time to take some Purikura together before.

Manuela aka Manu editing afterwards.

I was chocked when I saw one of Manu's friends. Bazu and her must be two of the most crazy and cool people I've seen in Japan.

All kinds of people came to take Purikura before going to the party Tokyo Decadence in J-Pop café. Bazu borrowed "Hawaiian necklaces" to me and Manu to make us fit in. ;)

Manuela and me sadly couldn't go to the party but you can see pictures of it at Bazu's blog BAZOOKISTAN here. :)

The left picture shows Bazu before her transformation to a white manba. Transformers 3 has premiere in Japan on Friday but they're already among us. ;)
